uFieldPos (Optional)
Type: Usual
The name, number, or symbol representing the desired column.

Return Value

Type: Usual
Returns a hyperlabel object if any error condition had occurred or if a validation has failed, NIL if everything is OK, if the validation passed, or if there has been no validation attempt. In particular, SQLSelect:FieldStatus() can be used to find out more about a validation failure. By accessing the properties of this hyperlabel, you can retrieve not only a description but also context-sensitive help on the condition that was raised:
