The following example implements a simple socket server function waiting for connection at port 7 and receiving all data from the client:
X#
FUNCTION ServerTest3()   AS VOID PASCAL
LOCAL oSocket   AS CSocket
LOCAL oSockMsg  AS CSocket
LOCAL cData     AS STRING
LOCAL cFrom     AS STRING
LOCAL nPort     AS INT
oSocket  := CSocket{SOCK_STREAM}
IF oSocket:bind(7, NULL_STRING, AF_INET)
 oSocket:listen(1)
 oSockMsg := oSocket:accept()
 IF oSockMsg != NULL_OBJECT
        cData := oSockMsg:GetRaw()
 oSockMsg:GetPeerName(@cFrom, @nPort)
 ? "Data received from ", cFrom, ;
