Remarks
A ComboBoxEx control is a ComboBox control with two extensions.
Firstly, each item in the list is able to display an image beside it. This is achieved with the use of an ImageList object that is assigned to the control. It is also able to overlay a second image when the item is selected. Both images are specified when the item is added to the control.
Secondly, unlike the normal ComboBox control, a ComboBoxEx control is not restricted inside of the frame of its owner but, can pass over the frame and into the surrounding area so as to display its list of entries in the drop-down box.
